About Us

Way back in the 1990s, When I was doing B.Tech from Bundelkhand Institute of Technology, Jhansi , I was driven by the extraordinary dream to see a day when no Indian would be deprived of rights as basic as survival.

Participation, protection and development. Like many of us, I too was upset when I saw very poor condition of near my college and very poor environment condition. There was only one tree in 240 acres of my college.

I started Vivekananda Samiti group with help of my batch mates and juniors. This group started helping poor villagers. This group arranged 50 trees for plantation. Our group also thought mess worker because most of them are ill literate.

After B.Tech I works with different organization for improvement of India society. In 2007 with my 4 friends again I started Vivekananda Samiti. They felt that something needed to be done to improve the situation of the India Society. Uncharacteristically, given their backgrounds and motivations, they chose not to start a grassroots-level implementing organization working directly with improvement Indian society. They started work with environment awareness program with name of Prayas.

After that Vivekananda Samiti started one more chapter Abhivyakti (Cultural and Motivational Programs) for connecting India society. In 2010 Vivekananda Samiti started Udan Program (School education for underprivileged children). . In 2014 samiti starts Abhyuday Program (Skill development for unemployed youth) for unemployed youth. All through the early, difficult years, it was my passion and conviction that drove Vivekananda Samiti. I was firmly convinced that each of us can, in our own small way, be the agents of change, and when enough of us become one, the impact is a lasting change for the better. All we asked of people was that they help Vivekananda Samiti by doing what they were good at. As he put it, “What we can do, we must do.”
